About Nettie: Nettie has been scraping the rust off her pencils at the Pauper's Art Guild, returning to figurative work after a many-year hiatus. A graduate of New York's HS of Music & Art, where she studied with Matthew Feinman, she was recipient of the St. Gaudens medal for Outstanding Draughtsmanship presented at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Nettie studied under the aegis of Theo Stavropoulous at Lehman College in NYC. Advanced anatomy and figure studies followed with Robert Beverly Hale at the Art Student's League in NY, and with Randy Melick, Eliot Goldfinger and Mark Lineweaver at the New York Academy of Art. In her other lives, Nettie is a career and executive coach, and an interfaith minister. Oh yes, and a musician. Go figure.
